“Classes” for School Aged Kids in 8 Week Seasons
And good things for babies and grown ups too!
Supportive, Fun, Revolutionary
Do we NEED our kids to spend so much time in authoritarian environments? Or are we doing something because we’ve been told it’s important and forgot to ask what happens as a result.
Today’s political world is a direct result of us doing schooling in this way. It’s Not developmentally aligned, but it does achieve the goals of business moguls from Rockefeller to today.
Sure, we may be ACCUSTOMED to “learning” that looks like school, desks, busy weeks, hard work, stress and grades…
Human Development research tells a very different story.
So, after you learn that human development research shows play, song, and imagination make far better teachers, will you keep doing it the “normal” way?
Is there a balance where imagination and creative time are upheld like THEY are important things?
Can we value ourselves, each other, and others and slow down enough to support healthy nervous systems?
This not a normal space. On purpose.
For those who suspect there’s more that our kids (and our inner kid!) deserve, join us Punk Philosophers! We’re doing things differently on purpose as the change we’re wishing to see in the world.

music fills the air, along with the smell of coffee and tea because grown ups take a load off while kids learn and play through music
Reach out and connect! Attend an adult class, bring me in for a professional development training, or make an appointment for another form of support.
It is not a fairy tale but a true story.
Not long ago and not far away, a country full of people not unlike us found their lives had been destroyed by war and the violence of fascism.
As the people of a small village collected the bricks that used to be the buildings that made their community, they wondered together. “How can we prevent this from ever happening again?”
They decided together to focus on meeting the needs of the youngest and smallest in the community. They were resolved to teach the children in a way that wouldn’t allow such fascist harm to repeat.
Since then, the Reggio Emilia schools are internationally revered as exemplary, human development aligned, teaching programs.
We are worthy of learning environments that change the world for the better.
